We, therefore, provide yacht registration services in Marshall Islands in close cooperation with the Marshall Islands Registry.
In Marshall Islands it is possible to register - private yachts, limited charter private yachts, commercial yachts as well as passenger yachts.
The yacht owners are free to choose between two home ports - Bikini or jaluit.
Marshall Islands Ownership of the yacht: Yachts registered in Marshall Islands must be through a Marshall Islands company either corporation, limited or general partnership, limited liability company or qualified foreign maritime entity.
Therefore, first step to yacht registration is to register a legal entity in Marshall Islands, and then proceed with the yacht registration.
Private yachts that are 12m or more but less than 24 in LOA which are under 20 years of age no longer require to undergo a pre-registration inspection unless required so by the Marshall Islands Registry.
To register a private yacht, registration documentation will have to be prepared.
A commercial yacht is any yacht engaged in trade, commerce, or charter and carries less than 12 passengers. The registration of commercial yacht is limited to length of 24 m.
All commercial yachts will have to undertake complianc verification to comply with the requirements of Marshall Islands requirements.
Necessary documents to register commercial yacht in Marshall Islands:
Is a type of registration offered to private yachts in more than 18 m length and less than 50GT, which has compliance certificate allowing the yacht to be engaged in limited chartering for no more than 84 days per calendary year, and which cannot carry more than 12 passengers.
The programme is not available in areas where full compliance is required for charter.

All vessels that want to apply for PYLC will have to undertake compliance verification regardless of their tonnage or age.
Applicable for private yachts of 24 m or more in load line length. YET is authorized to charter for up to 84 days per calendar year in EU water (limited to French and Monegasque waters) and is limited to 12 passengers.
A Marshall Islands YET will have to comply with all Marshall Islands legislation as well as international legislation - MLC 2006, SOLAS, Marpol, ISM, ISPS.

All vessels that want to apply for PYLC will have to undertake compliance verification regardless of their tonnage or age.
Registration as passenger yacht in Marshall Islands is possible for any yacht which is certified to carry more than 12 but not more than 36 passengers.
